Brave Girls Takes No. 1 on MelOn's Top 100 Monthly Chart for April 2021 with "Rollin'"

Brave Girls, who saw recent fame thanks to reverse running, has ranked first on the Top 100 monthly chart of MelOn for April 2021. Their 2017 song "Rollin'" has been dominating the music chart since February. Not to mention, the track came in first place on the Top 100 chart for two months in a row (March and April).

On April 26, the Brave Girls' "Rollin'" has completed a total of five weeks at No. 1 on MelOn's Weekly Chart, becoming the first girl group to attain this milestone after 12 years since Girls Generation's "Gee" in 2009.

In addition, "Rollin'" has become the most-liked girl group song of all time on MelOn. As of April 2021, it has a total of 254,595 likes. "Rollin'" has also been the most-streamed song in multiple days within the past month, garnering more than one million streams daily.

IU Occupies Three Spots in the Top 5 of MelOn's Top 100 Monthly Chart for April 2021

"Nation's Sweetheart" IU made it to the Top 5 three times with her new songs from her "LILAC" album. The K-pop female solo artist has been entering various MelOn charts with all the tracks from her latest album following release, including the real-time and 24Hits charts.

Sitting at No. 2 on MelOn's Top 100 is the title track "LILAC," which jumped 26 spots to get to its position on the monthly chart. As of April, the song has 176,871 likes.

Following "LILAC" is "Celebrity" at No. 3. It was previously in the second position on the monthly chart for March 2021. This track has been charting on MelOn since it was launched in January as it gains more than two million streams per day.

On the MelOn 24Hits, IU's "Celebrity" has broken the record for the highest debut, taking the No. 18 position. It is the only track to enter the top 20 of the chart after MelOn replaced its real-time chart with 24Hits.

IU's last entry in the top 5 is "Coin" that took the last spot. The song impressively jumped 79 positions to No. 5. Like "LILAC" and "Celebrity," the track constantly lands in the top 5 or top 10 of MelOn charts.

BLACKPINK Rosé Maintains its Position at No. 7 on MelOn's Top 100 Monthly Chart for April 2021

Rosé, who made her much-anticipated solo debut in March, stayed strong at No. 7 on MelOn's Top 100 for April. This is her second month in the position with her solo debut track "On The Ground." Additionally, this makes Rosé the second-highest ranking K-pop female solo artist on the monthly chart, following IU.
