HIGHLIGHT, ITZY, and More: These are the Best-Selling Singles in Korea This Week

HIGHLIGHT's "Not The End" is the Best-Selling K-Pop Single of the Week

Debuting at number one is HIGHLIGHT's "Not The End." This is HIGHLIGHT's first comeback after two and a half years.

The album comes from "The Blowing," debuted at number two on the Gaon Albums ranking, showing the support fans are giving them despite their lengthy hiatus from the music scene.

This is also HIGHLIGHT's first comeback as a four-member group.

The group occupied four spots on the top ten Gaon Download Chart this week, claiming 40% of the entire region for themselves. Specifically, "Hey Yeah" ranked at number seven, "Wave" ranked at number eight, and "Sorry" ranked at number ten.

ITZY's "Mafia in the Morning" is the Best-Selling K-Pop Girl Group Single This Week

ITZY is the only girl group to reach the top ten of this week's Gaon Weekly Album Chart. Their most recent comeback single, "Mafia in the Morning," ranked at number four this week. They ranked at number ten last week, meaning they were able to rise up by six spots.

Their latest album, "Guess Who," debuted at the top of the Gaon Retail Album Chart, selling over 58,000 copies in its first week. The album debuted and peaked at number two on the Gaon Weekly Album Chart. With less than a day of tracking, the album entered the Gaon Monthly Album Chart at number five. Upon its release, all the songs from "Guess Who" entered the Gaon Download Chart.

The album has been described as a best-seller in South Korea by Forbes Magazine's High McIntyre. Recently, ITZY made headlines as the seventh South Korean female artist to chart on the US Billboard 200, joining the likes of BoA, Girls' Generation, 2NE1, BLACKPINK, TWICE, and LOONA. "Guess Who" peaked at number 148 on the said charts.

"Guess Who" also peaked at number two on the US World Albums Chart, making it ITZY's third top-ten entry. "Guess Who" also debuted at the top of the US Hetseekerks Album Chart. On the Billboard Artist 100 Chart, ITZY ranked at number 99.
