Jeong Se Woon Drops 'The Secret Garden,' Appears in 'Yoo Hee-yeol's Sketchbook'

Singer-songwriter Jeong Se Woon shows his boyfriend material side, serenading his listeners with a new single and a talk show appearance.

The Starship Entertainment idol appeared on the KBS2 talk and music show "Yoo Hee-yeol's Sketchbook," talking with the titular host, Yoo Hee-yeol. Aside from Jeong Se Woon, the May 14 episode also featured singers KCM (Kang Chang-Mo), O.WHEN, and rapper Lee Young-ji. In his recent appearance, Jeong Se Woon shared about his recent experiences and was even playing around with Yoo Hee-yeol and his co-guests.

He was then chosen as the 61st Voice of the Yoo Hee-yeol anthology with the "Sketchbook X Jeong Se Woon." He then chose Lee Sang-Eun's 2003 hit "The Secret Garden." In his version, Jeong Se Woon captures the same carefree and relaxing melody, though his version has softer accompaniments that further emphasize his sweet vocals.

Jeong Se Woon, while on stage, showed a delicate sensibility that adds his own flavor to the Yoon Gun track "Walk." In his cover version, Se Woon delivered a performance that fans found to be matching the season, finding his version of the Yoon Gun song a perfect reinterpretation.

His own reinterpretation of Lee Sang Eun's "The Secret Garden" has been released as a single across digital music streaming services on the 15th. Listen to Jeong Se Woon below:

 

About Jeong Se Woon

Jeong Se Woon first made his public appearance back in 2013, joining the music competition program K-pop Star. He has captured the attention of both the audience and the judges with his original song "Mom, Wait a Minute." After joining other competition shows, such as "Produce 101 Season 2," he finally made his solo debut in August with the EP "Ever." It was a commercial and critical success, placing at the second spot on the Korean Gaon Album Charts.

His debut EP was followed by equally successful sequels: "After" in 2018 and the two-part album "24" - whose first part was released on July 14, 2020 and the second part made available last January 6.
