KIM WOOJIN teases fans with his charms and showmanship while he's in his pre-debut period, releasing a cover of the 2015 Maroon 5 hit "Sugar."

Last May 21, KIM WOOJIN released his cover video on his own YouTube channel. Set in a clear and bright building with windows everywhere, the upcoming solo artist moves freely across the empty room as he absolutely crushes the Maroon 5 hit. He brings his own flavor while capturing the chorus' falsettos, similar to how Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine did with the original track. Additionally, in the entirely white and gray room, KIM WOOJIN rocks his casual outfit - a white outfit with an orange bear printed in the middle, paired with denim jeans.

A total performer all by himself, he flawlessly sings through while giving the occasional jig and jive, inviting audiences to move along with him. Halfway through his cover performance, the 10x Entertainment surprisingly tossed a bunch of colorful confetti as he freely expresses his take on the Maroon 5 song.

Additionally, 10x Entertainment said that the "Sugar" cover, which features KIM WOOJIN's charm, has more than 1.2 million views across his SNS sites. "The cover live video is getting a great reaction not only in Korea but also overseas, and we plan to additionally release various contents for fans during the pre-debut period," the talent management agency said in a statement.

The cover of Maroon 5's "Sugar" is the latest activity from the upcoming solo artist. It follows the release of his concept photos across his SNS channels, captivating fans with his incredible charm. The hype surrounding KIM WOOJIN only increased when he released his anticipated visual film, "Le Chocolatier," or the "chocolate-maker." Featuring the artist as a dashing debonair who "melted people's heart," the CGI-aided visual film shows him escaping capture from the teddy bear authorities. As the titular Chocolatier, KIM WOOJIN appears to be experimenting with different ingredients to create the ultimate chocolate treat.
