DAY6 Young K To Feature in Filipino Artist Ben&Ben's Upcoming Song
On Wednesday, May 26, Ben&Ben revealed that they would be releasing a new song on Friday, May 28, titled "LEAVES." Surprisingly, the song features a special featured artist — DAY6's very own Young K!
"LEAVES ft. Young K" is a remake of their song of the same name. Previously, in Jul. 2020, Young K revealed during a live stream that he had listened to "LEAVES" by Ben&Ben and praised the song, saying it is amazing. He said that he was surprised by how amazing the song is and will listen to more of their music.

"LEAVES" was first released in 2017 and is one of the most popular songs by the band. The song has been praised by numerous K-pop idols, such as TWICE's Momo, GOT7's Bambam, NCT's Mark and Renjun, and Red Velvet's Wendy.
According to Ben&Ben, they reimagined "LEAVES" this year with an artist they really love, Young K. For this release, they wanted to send the message that "all will be alright in time." This is Young K's first time collaborating with a Filipino artist.

The song will be available on all major streaming platforms on Friday, May 28, 12 MN PHT or 1 AM KST.

Young K's Recent Activities
On Apr. 19, DAY6 made a comeback with their seventh Korean-language mini-album, "The Book of Us: Negentropy." The album has a total of seven songs, with "You Make Me" serving as the album's titled track. The album peaked at number three on the Gaon Album Charts.
"You Make Me" peaked at number 73 on the Gaon Digital Chart and at number 86 on the Billboard Korea K-Pop Hot 101.
Due to member Sungjin's military enlistment, DAY6 did not promote "You Make Me" on music shows.

Back on Jan. 14, 2021, Young K featured as a rapper in Thai Singer Apiwat Ueathavornsuk (Stamp)'s song "Sugar High." He also featured in Park Monn Chi's "What a Wonderful World."
Young K is currently a radio host for KBS Radio's "Kiss Radio." He was previously the radio host for MBC Radio's "Idol Radio" alongside GOT7 member Youngjae.
Who are Ben&Ben?
Ben&Ben is a Filipino folk-pop/pop-rock band. The group was formed in 2015 and is one of the most famous artists in the country. They are best known for their songs "Ride Home," "LEAVES," "Maybe the Night," "Lifetime," "Doors," "Pagtingin," and their critically acclaimed release, "Kathang Isip."
They were the most streamed Filipino artist on Spotify in 2020 and have won several domestic awards.
