This summer comeback is more interesting in the sense that Baek A-yeon's clear and soothing voice is ideal for songs released in the spring and summer seasons, just like her previous releases: "Shouldn't Have" featuring DAY6 Young K, "so-so," "Sweet Lies" featuring The Barberettes, and "Looking for Love."

In September 2019, Baek A-yeon chose not to renew her contract with JYP Entertainment, which has been her home for seven years since she signed with the company in 2012.

In December of the same year, Baek announced that she joined a new company, Eden Entertainment. Her releases last year marked her new beginnings under a new label.

In June last year, the female soloist released an R&B track titled "Looking for Love," along with a music video. This single is her first release since 2018 and also her first song after departing from JYPE.

Baek A-yeon's "Looking for Love" depicts the journey of someone feeling lonely and eventually finding love and happiness.

On Christmas Eve last year, Baek A-yeon returned with her fifth album, "I Need You." The album's title track, also called "I Need You," is also an R&B song that exudes the feeling of isolation, loneliness, and longing. As the title suggests, the lyrics express one's need for that special someone who left them.
