BTS, MONSTA X and More: These Are the Most Viewed K-Pop MVs for the 23rd Week of 2021

On June 5 KST, K-Pop Radar's weekly charts for the most viewed K-Pop music videos on Youtube were updated to reflect the data that they have gathered for the 23rd week of 2021, from May 30 to June 5.

BTS's "Butter" is the Most Viewed K-Pop Music Video for the 23rd Week of 2021

Taking the first spot as the most viewed K-Pop music video for the 23rd week of 2021 is once again BTS's "Butter," which was released just last month on May 21 KST.

According to K-Pop Radar, BTS's second song in English, "Butter," gained a total of 51,711,961 views in the week alone, bringing their total music video views to 306,375,649. Just last month, in May, BTS ended the month by accumulating a total of 271,198,890 views - showing an impressive increase of more than 35 million views.

BTS's "Butter" had broken the record for the most views on a premiere of a Youtube video, having more than 3.9 million concurrent viewers at the time of its release, breaking the record of 3.1 million views by their first English song, "Dynamite," released in August 2020.

Not only that but "Butter" also became the most viewed music video in just 24 hours after its release, already boasting an impressive 108,200,000 views on Youtube. After six days of the song's release, "Butter" had surpassed 230 million views, setting five new Guinness World Records.

As of this writing, "Butter" currently has 316,470,958 views and 16 million likes.

MONSTA X's "GAMBLER" is the Second Most Viewed K-Pop Music Video for the 23rd Week of 2021

Entering the charts and snagging the second spot is MONSTA X's newly released song, "GAMBLER," which was released on June 1 KST. According to K-Pop Radar, "GAMBLER" gained a total of 22,699,200 new views in just five days since its release.

On June 2, just 24 hours after the song's release, the music video had surpassed and hit the 10 million view mark. As of this writing, "GAMBLER" has accumulated a total of 28,769,780 views with 464 thousand likes.

"GAMBLER" is the title track of MONSTA X's ninth mini-album, "One Of A Kind," following the group's third Japanese album, "Flavors of Love," released on May 5, 2021, with a title track of the same name. In addition, "One Of A Kind" marks MONSTA X's first Korean comeback after seven months, their last being their third full album, "Fatal Love," released on November 2, 2020.

"One Of A Kind" features seven tracks: "Gambler," "Heaven," "Addicted," "Secrets," "BEBE," "Rotate," and "LIVIN' IT UP" the Korean version.
