During the V-Live, D.O responded to numerous questions from fans, as well as give an update regarding his future plans in his music and acting activities. At one point, the "Don't Fight the Feeling" singer shared how he wanted to share his own music to EXO-Ls, EXO's fandom, and revealed that he is working hard on it, that the songs are already finished, and that he was already learning the lyrics. However, he stated that he is not sure when the album will be out.

Months later, on June 10, D.O went on LYSN Bubble, a mobile app where artists and fans can communicate with each other, to have another casual chat with EXO-Ls. But this time, D.O excited numerous fans when he revealed that it's been a while since he has finished his solo album!

Now that his solo album is finished, all fans have to do now is play the waiting game! "It's been a while since I have finished my solo album. Let's wait for it to come out together. I'm also curious," said D.O in the chat. It seems that we can anticipate the release of his solo album in the coming months - maybe even next month!

This will mark D.O as the probable sixth EXO member to release his own solo album after Chen, Baekhyun, Lay, Suho, and Kai. In addition, the upcoming solo album will be his official solo debut, although he has released solo tracks in the past.
