YG Stage Shares BLACKPINK Jisoo's Ethereal Profile Photos for Acting
On July 8 KST, BLACKPINK Jisoo's label, YG Entertainment, unveiled the "How You Like That" singer's profile photos for her acting career through the label's social media account of their acting department, YG Stage.
In the five photos shared by YG Stage, Jisoo can be see looking ethereal and like a goddess as she wears a simple white top, along with a pair of denim jeans. Accompanying her simple look is a simple makeup look. As opposed to her usual makeup look as a member of BLACKPINK, which consists of strong colors and glitters, Jisoo has a nude and more muted makeup, which shows off the singer's natural beauty.
Back on August 18, 2020, it was confirmed that the BLACKPINK member was cast as the female lead in the upcoming drama, "Snowdrop," that is set to air on JTBC.
The drama is directed by Jo Hyun Tak, and written by Yoo Hyun Mi, who both have previously worked together on the hit drama, "Sky Castle."

"Snowdrop" will also mark Jisoo's debut as an actress. Also, prior to her debut as a member of BLACKPINK, Jisoo had made a cameo appearance in the 2015 KBS 2TV drama, "The Producers," as well as making an appearance as Sae Na Rae, Sa Ya's - a character played by Song Joong Ki - old first love in the tvN drama "Arthdal Chronicles" back in 2019.
The filming for the drama, "Snowdrop," is still ongoing. The exact premiere date of the drama has not yet been announced, but is set to air in the second half of 2021.

As some of the members of BLACKPINK are currently focusing on their solo activities, the group's fifth debut anniversary if fast approaching!

"BLACKPINK The Movie," which is slated to premiere this coming August 4, will features sequences such as "The Room of Memory" that will show the memories the members of BLACKPINK have shared in the past five years; "Beauty" which will present strong images of the members who have distinct personalities; and lastly, an "Unreleased Special Interview" for fans.
The movie will also include five songs from BLACKPINK's "THE SHOW" and "In Your Area (2018)" concerts.
