MONSTA X Showcases Their Vocals in Jazzy 'Secrets' Live Performance
MONSTA X effortlessly channels class and sophistication with their live performance of "Secrets," as a part of Mdromeda's "it's Live" series.
The jazzy live version of "Secrets" marks the latest entry on "it's Live," K-pop live performances on the MBC YouTube channel Mdromeda. The five MONSTA X members - Hyungwon, I.M, Kihyun, Jooheon, and Minhyuk - are in coats and ties with varying styles against an entirely purple stage.
The group presented a show never seen before from the group, combining the sensual appeal of the background with their classy suit. There are no flashy choreography sequences this time, commanding all the attention to the Starship Entertainment boy group's visuals and vocals.

Although Shownu was not physically with the group, his soft, whisper-like vocals lead the song as Hyungwon carries forward with his part, showcasing his unique singing style.
Minhyuk easily charms the viewers with his relaxed singing in front of the mic while Jooheon gives off adlibs that create a sense of spontaneity to the performance.
The audience has also noted Kihyun's impressive vocal range, belting the high notes and complimenting I.M's smooth rap verses delivered, like the rest of the song, entirely in English.
Fans around the world enjoyed the latest "Secrets" version, writing comments such as "No group kan keep up with MONSTA X's deadly aura" and "MONSTA X's music ripens like wine." Other fans seem to agree with one comment that said, "All members are vocalists."
"Secrets" is a part of the latest MONSTA X album, "One Of A Kind," and was written and produced by Hyungwon himself. The song has made its debut on the Billboard US World Digital Songs at the 12th spot. Aside from "Secrets," which saw its "It's Live" version, Hyungwon also wrote the track "Bebe" for their dedicated fandom, MONBEBE.
Aside from Hyungwon, "One Of A Kind" also served as a platform for other members to step up. Jooheon made his first title track production for the group with "GAMBLER," with I.M joining in the songwriting process.
MONSTA X continues to keep their fans updated with their own vlog series on Naver V LIVE and YouTube, titled "MonChannel."
