Global K-pop phenomenon MONSTA X and fan interaction platform UNIVERSE has released its highly-anticipated single, "KISS OR DEATH."

On July 26, UNIVERSE developers NCSoft and Klap released the latest UNIVERSE Music track, "KISS OR DEATH," across major music streaming services.

Additionally, they also released the full music video for the MONSTA X single, but only as an exclusive content for users and subscribers of the NCSoft K-pop fan interaction platform.

The latest UNIVERSE Music release is a powerful pop track that has the signature MONSTA X energy and hip hop charisma. With an impressive balance between its rap and vocals, the Starship Entertainment boy group maximizes the colorful composition that uses an 808 bass and a flamboyant vocal synth over drum rhythms.

Korean singer-songwriter, producer, and labelmate to MONSTA X Brother Su also composed and produced "KISS OR DEATH."

As with his previous work for the group, Brother Su closely collaborated with the rap line, Jooheon and I.M, ensuring that the new song has the fatally appealing lyrics and beat characteristic of the group's music.

In the 3:41 music video, exclusive on the UNIVERSE app, the group appears as a set of detectives investigating clues to solve a mystery happening in a classical train running through the night.

The video also plays with the concept of time travel, raising the hype and excitement from the teasers - "Crime Scene" and "Time Warp" - released earlier.

The "KISS OR DEATH" music video is something definitely MONSTA X: tense, electrifying, and with a good dose of the group members' visuals.

MONSTA X has enjoyed love and support from its fans, both in Korean and the rest of the world, thanks to its brilliant concepts as seen in "GAMBLER," "Trespass," "DRAMARAMA," and "FANTASIA," and more.

MONSTA X recently topped the BIllboard World Digital Song Sales Chart with its recent ninth mini-album, "One Of A Kind," gaining recognition from foreign publications like Forbes and Grammys.

"KISS OR DEATH" is the latest release from UNIVERSE Music, original songs from the artists affiliated with the NCSoft K-pop fan interaction platform with music videos exclusively released on the app. It was launched back in January with IZ*ONE and "D-D-Dance" saw monthly releases, including (G)I-DLE's "Last Dance (Prod. GroovyRoom)" in May.

UNIVERSE will release an exclusive video on July 28, 6 PM KST, featuring the members of MONSTA X doing a reaction video to their "KISS OR DEATH" MV. It will also include a virtual fan meeting event to share the experience with MONBEBE, the group's fanbase.
