Victoria Song, a member of the K-pop group f(x), revealed her current status in China. After not renewing her contract with SM Entertainment, the Chinese idol as of now is active in various fields in her hometown, such as being a singer, actress, model, and MC.
Recently, a photo of Victoria with actress Wang Xiaochen attracted the attention of web users due to them kissing each other in an uploaded photo by the latter. The image immediately spread to Korean fans, drawing mixed reactions.

In particular, Wang Xiaochen released two photos from her birthday on the 25th, along with f(x) Victoria, through her Weibo account.
In the first photo, Wang and Song were seen cutting a large cake together, and there is also a large bouquet on the side, showing a lovely atmosphere.
In their second photo, the two were seen kissing each other while still showing the same pose of cutting the cake.
Along with the photos, Xiaochen wrote the caption, "The most perfect woman in my eyes, you are kind, lovely, hardworking and beautiful. Thank you for your care and day, my sister."
As the photo circulated on Korean social media channels, many internet users and fans of Victoria from Korea can't hide their surprised reactions, commenting, "What's going on?," "What is happening in the photo?" and more.
Although the K-pop idol and Chinese actresses were known to be close friends, kissing on the lips of same-sex friends is not common in Korea. This is one of the reasons why K-Netz and fans reacted in such a way.
On the flip side, Chinese internet users explained that "In China, even close same-sex friends kiss each other," the explanation why it is not something to be surprised of. According to fans, the photos are also taken from "Dear Life" filming set, a new Chinese drama where the two actresses are working together.

Victoria Song: What Is She Up to After f(x) Hiatus?
Victoria, who made her public appearance in the music video of SHINee's "Replay" in 2008, officially debuted in 2009 as a member of f(x).
The K-pop idol in their early years received much love for her activities with f(x), and her popularity increased after she debuted as an actress in 2012.
In 2015, she launched her own studio in China, along with undergoing f(x) member re-organization due to Sulli's withdrawal from the group. In the same year, the quartet at that time released their fourth studio album, "4 Walls," her last group activities until she became fully inactive in Korea in 2016.
Recently, her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment expired, leaving no f(x) members in the agency. It is still in question if the four-member group will be able to come back as a full group again.
Meanwhile, Victoria, or also known as Song Qian, has a long list of Chinese dramas set to be released in the upcoming months, including "Almost Lover," "Warm and Sweet," "Dear Life," and "Luoyang."
