Jeon Somi Reveals Which TWICE Members She Contacts When She's Having a Hard Time
In a recent video of 1theK originals, Jeon Somi mentioned TWICE, whose members were her co-participants in SIXTEEN. She revealed who among them she contacts when she is going through a tough time.
On Aug. 2, 1theK originals uploaded a video featuring Jeon Somi to their YouTube channel. The female idol read her Namoo Wiki profile and shared whether the information posted was true or not.
Jeon Somi Shares Which TWICE Members She Calls When She's Going Through a Difficult Time
Jeon Somi and the current TWICE members are known to be former contestants in the girl group survival show SIXTEEN, which was created by JYP Entertainment in collaboration with Mnet.
SIXTEEN run from May to July 2015 with a total of 10 episodes. Throughout the reality show, Jeon Somi managed to be part of the "Major" team five times and was added to the "Minor" group only twice.

In the final episode of SIXTEEN, however, Jeon Somi was eliminated, thus, she was unable to debut as a member of the girl group TWICE.
On the Namoo Wiki profile that she was reading to 1theK, it was mentioned that she received fewer votes than TWICE Tzuyu in the last episode of the survival show, and this is why she was eliminated.
Jeon Somi commented that she doesn't remember having fewer votes than Tzuyu during SIXTEEN. She then jokingly said, "But reading this makes me go, 'I guess so?'"
The "Dumb Dumb" singer then shared that she's very close with all TWICE members and she would run into each other on the streets quite often.
Somi also confessed that the TWICE members are some of the people she can feel comfortable around.

She continued that whenever she's having a hard time, she would call two TWICE members, particularly Nayeon and Chaeyoung.
Many are aware that Jeon Somi and TWICE Chaeyoung have been close friends for more than six years.
In April last year, Somi shared a special clip from her reality show "I Am Somi," and in the video, she and TWICE Chaeyoung were walking side by side as they walk toward a macaron shop.

Jeon Somi's "DUMB DUMB" Tops the YouTube Trending Worldwide (Music Video) and Enters iTunes Charts
In other news, Jeon Somi made her long-awaited return on Aug. 2 with her new single, "DUMB DUMB." The female idol participated in writing the lyrics for the song.
As of noon on Aug. 3, Somi's "DUMB DUMB" music video ranked first on the YouTube Trending Worldwide chart for music videos.

At the same time, the "DUMB DUMB" MV surpassed 6.1 million views, about 13 hours after it was released.
In addition to this, Jeon Somi's new single also debuted on iTunes charts around the world. It landed inside the Top 10 of more than 10 countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and more.
Somi's "DUMB DUMB" also ranked second on Bugs and claimed the No. 17 spot on Genie.
