Jimin reveals that in the past, he thought he could take care of all of these problems. However, as he looks backs, he realizes that was not the case. "It has not been that long since I realized that I was the one to grab on and forced everything to happen," he revealed.
It is no secret that BTS is making big bucks nowadays. In 2019, the group ranked 43rd in Forbes' annual list of the 100 highest-paid celebrities, earning $57 million that year. In 2020, they ranked at number 47 and were reported to have made $50 million, and they could have made more had COVID-19 not put a stop to the boy's planned summer stadium tour across the United States that year.
On July 19, 2021, BTS ranked at number four on Billboard's top five highest-paid musicians in the world. According to the publication, BTS had a total income of $31.5 million, with streaming royalty earning them around $14.6 million. BTS was also reported to have a global stream count of 17.3 billion, with 9.8 billion coming from video streams and 7.4 billion coming from audio streams.
While it may seem nice that BTS is raking in the dough, it is not all that it's cracked up to be, as Jimin has said. So what do you think of Jimin's statements? Tell us in the comments below!
