Exactly seven years ago, EXO's fandom named EXO-L was officially born! In commemoration of the 7th birthday of EXO-Ls, we have prepared a list of "savage" moments of the fandom — proofs that they are raised by EXO members themselves!

On August 5, 2014, the fandom that was once nameless and was called by various nicknames officially received their fandom name, EXO-L. Despite being simple, it contained a significant message that linked the fandom to EXO.

In context, EXO initially debuted with 12 members and divided into two sub-units, EXO-K and EXO-M. The letter "L," which means "LOVE," is also the 12th letter in the alphabet, and the letter in between "K" and "M." Due to this, EXO-Ls are in charge of promoting love, and the "glue" of EXO to become "one."

Since today is EXO-Ls 7th anniversary as a fandom, just like "Peter Pan" who never gets old, these "memeable" moments with EXO and EXO-Ls never age as well!

Here are the Times EXO and EXO-Ls Were Just as 'Savage' as Each Other:

1. Sehun Pulling a Prank to an EXO-L During an Autograph Opportunity

Sehun is indeed the "savage" maknae that even EXO-Ls can't avoid! During EXO's EXplOration tour, the youngest member had a blast teasing and pranking EXO-Ls while doing the autograph opportunity.

In particular, it is already like a tradition that during concerts, items such as balloons, balls, paper money, and more were given to fans as mementos.

A fan then took the courage to ask it boldly while other EXO-Ls patiently wait for Sehun to toss the ball, but when the fan thought the maknae would easily give in — Sehun gave the fan his marker instead! What a tease!

2. EXO-Ls Savagely asking EXO to Marry Them

During fan meetings, it is not a shocking scenario that fans will ask their "Oppa" to marry them. But as if EXO-Ls are of different "breeds," this fan didn't just simply ask EXO Lay to marry her, even presented him with a ring!

With such a shocking proposal, Lay still managed to reply to her showing his gentleman side, and said, "I want to be a responsible man so let me ponder about this question seriously."

A similar situation also happened to Chanyeol when a fan asked her to marry her next life. When asked if why next life, the EXO-L answered, "I'm already married."

3. EXO is Nine, okay??

Though they were initially 12, the current members of EXO are nine, including Xiumin, Suho, Chen, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, along with Lay, who is actively promoting in China.

Thus, during an interview, this EXO-L got so worked up when the interviewer accidentally said that EXO is eight, exclaiming, "It's 9 of them!!"

4. There is no "You Are My Idol" Pass to EXO-Ls when it comes to Playing Games with EXO

EXO Sehun and Baekhyun, who decided to flaunt their gaming skills through PUBG and gain points from their fans — turned into hilarious despair instead.

In particular, the supposed to be chilling with EXO-Ls suddenly became a battle among them when the fans ganged up and beat Baekhyun's character ruthlessly.

But Sehun being the "evil maknae" of the group, joined the fans into hitting Baekhyun's character, causing them to be defeated by their fans.

5. EXO-Ls are the Only Fans Who Will Leave Their Idols on Read

Every fan dreamed of being able to talk to their idols, even through social media channels.

Luckily this fan who claimed to be a child of a Pizza house owner attracted the attention of the "foodie" Baekhyun.

The "Bambi" singer, who was determined to know the store's location bombarded the fan with multiple messages then, saying, "where exactly it is?" "where, where is it?" "she disappeared..." " and "where? where!!!".

Let's just say the EXO-L passed out because of too much excitement — that they weren't able to reply to Baekhyun till now.

6. EXO-Ls Making Lee Soo Man their Fan Club's President as a Joke

EXO-Ls got a high-profiled personality as their fan club's president, and it is none other than SM Entertainment's Executive Producer, Lee Soo Man!

It is not a secret that Lee Soo Man would always interact with EXO members, and would even do a fan chant for the group!

7. EXO-Ls Tease EXO Sehun After NCT Johnny was Spotted with SEVENTEEN Jeonghan in ISAC 2019

Lastly, this list is not complete without EXO-Ls being able to get their payback for all of the pranks and tease the "savage maknae" Sehun caused them.

In 2019, when SEVENTEEN Jeonghan and NCT Johnny were spotted together, EXO-Ls was the first ones to tease Sehun about the iconic scene where he mistook Jeonghan for Johnny!

It happened in 2017, but EXO-Ls aren't ready to make Sehun rest for one of the embarrassing yet legendary mistakes of his life!
