In 2014, during an episode of "Radio Star," the cast talked about pretty girl group members. Kyuhyun selected Girls' Generation member Yoona and former miss A member Suzy. While the cast tried to tease him about imaginary relationships with these girls, Kyuhyun quickly shut them down.
The male idol revealed that he does not like people who are too famous. While he thought the two aforementioned idols are pretty, he does not think of them romantically, as he feels burdened if the star is too famous. This led MC Kim Gu Ra to tease him and say that he must like trainees.
At this, f(x) members Sulli and Krystal, who appeared as guests at the time, mentioned the name "Seulgi." At this, Kyuhyun smiled shyly and nodded. The cast proceeded to tease Kyuhyun for liking Seulgi and was asked to give the then-SM Entertainment trainee a video message. He complied and sent out a video message, hoping for her debut and that she becomes successful.
Seulgi spoke about the male idol's open crush to her while she was a trainee after her debut. In 2015, during an appearance on "Radio Star," she said that she thinks Kyuhyun is caring and kind.
However, she revealed that the Super Junior member is not her type. Why? Because she is not a fan of men with double eyelids!

The idol fell in love with the K-drama actors due to the roles they play in their drama. Additionally, she likes guys who can hold a conversation with her and understand her.
