Girls' Generation Hyoyeon Does '#SecondChallenge' Featuring Lee Soo Man, Other K-pop Idols Leave Comments
Girls' Generation Hyoyeon kicked off her "#SecondChallenge" with a special person, SM Entertainment's own Lee Soo Man. Other K-pop idols, including SM artists, who saw the video left comments, expressing what they think of the surprise collaboration.
On Aug. 9, Hyoyeon returned as DJ HYO with her new single "Second" featuring BIBI. She then started her "Second" challenge on TikTok the following day and it featured a very busy partner.
Girls' Generation Hyoyeon Does '#SecondChallenge' Beside Lee Soo Man
On Aug. 10, Girls' Generation Hyoyeon launched her "#SecondChallenge" on TikTok, and in the clip, an important person made a special appearance.
In the TikTok video, Hyoyeon sports a yellow outfit with white flowers on them and performs the choreography of the chorus part of her new single.
The first featuring person in Hyoyeon's #SecondChallenge" video is none other than SM Entertainment's head producer Lee Soo Man.

It can be seen in the TikTok video that Girls' Generation member Hyoyeon happily dances to her new single "Second" while Lee Soo Man is keeping his focus on his laptop and later talking to someone over the phone.
In addition to the hashtag "#SecondChallenge," Hyoyeon also added some comical hashtags such as "#WereSorryLSM," "#WeLoveYouLSM," and "ComeBackLSM."
Girls' Generation Hyoyeon also uploaded her "#SecondChallenge" TikTok video to her personal Instagram account, surprising not only the fans but also other K-pop idols including SM artists.
Not to mention, some K-pop celebrities left a comment under Hyoyeon's Instagram post. KARD Jiwoo (@_zziwooo0) was spotted commenting, "WoW," while Super Junior Yesung (@yesung1106) asked, "Is it synthetic?"

Hyoyeon's fellow Girls' Generation member Sooyoung (@sooyoungchoi) was also seen in the comment section. She said, "Teacher, it looks like you're getting a plane ticket."
Another SM artist who commented is Super Junior Donghae (@leedonghae) who said "Awesome chance!"
Shim Jaewon (@beatburgerjae), one of the popular choreographers in SM Entertainment, also commented on Girls' Generation Hyoyeon's "#SecondChallenge" featuring Lee Soo Man. He left "ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ" (these symbols signify laughter).
On TikTok, Hyoyeon's "#SecondChallenge" with Lee Soo Man has surpassed 1.5 million views, 620,000 likes, and 18,000 comments and shares.
Apart from Lee Soo Man, Girls' Generation Hyoyeon also did the challenge with aespa members Karina and Winter.

On Aug. 9, Girls' Generation member Hyoyeon made her highly-anticipated comeback as DJ HYO with her new single "Second."

"Second" is described as a summer dance-pop track with various sounds including electric piano, cowbells, 808 bass, and horn. The song says that it's alright to take a second to relax in between our busy days. BIBI, who is the featuring artist in the single, took part in writing the lyrics.
In the first 24 hours after release, the music video for Hyoyeon's "Second" reached 1.3 million views and 220,000 likes on YouTube. It becomes her second most-watched solo MV, following "Dessert" with 2.4 million views.
Girls' Generation Hyoyeon's "Second" MV trended at No. 9 on YouTube worldwide at approximately 2 p.m. KST on Aug. 10.
