Recently, aespa's main vocal Ningning has been attracting attention on social media for her similarities to BLACKPINK member Jennie. People say the rookie idol's face looks more like Jennie's every day.
These comments saw a resurgence after Jennie shared photos of her in a green tracksuit on her Instagram on August 9.
Fans immediately dug out a photo of Ningning wearing green, which was shared to aespa's social media accounts back in December 2020. Though the image is from months again, many claim that you can clearly see how similar their visuals and vibes are in these photos.

People claim that both Ningning and Jennie's outfits boast a chic, cool girl aura. It also shows that the two have similar styles.
This is not the first time Ningning has been compared to Jennie. Since her debut, the "Black Mamba" songstress has been compared to the BLACKPINK member, with people saying that they share the same nose, mouth, and cheekbones.
Specifically, people claim they have the same feline-like features and chubby cheeks!

On August 4, Ningning shared some selfies which featured her bare-faced with colorful stickers on her face. The photos boasted the Chinese idol's weight loss, which people said only highlighted her similarities with Jennie. In addition, people say that her face shape started to resemble Jennie's even more.

Additionally, since Jennie is on the more petite side, her weight loss only drew more comparison to Jennie.
With many people comenting on how similar the two idols are, some have started to wonder if the aespa member was deliberately trying to shape her image to be like Jennie's. Some people accused Ningning of taking advantage of her similar features to Jennie to stir buzz around her. They claim that she could intentionally be taking photos that make her look like Jennie.
