Though the tweet is six years old, it has recently been resurfaced on South Korean community forums. Jungkook and Beomgyu have similarities themselves. For example, both idols have similar noses and lips, as well as puppy-like features. Because of that, it is not hard to see the similarities between the two male idols with Akina Nakamori.

Akina Nakamori has a similar nose and face shape to Jungkook, while her eyes appear to look more like Beomgyu's due to how deep both of their double eyelids are.

Many wonder if, subconsciously, Bang Si Hyuk selected Jungkook and Beomgyu to join and debut under his company due to his preference in visuals, as he has found two artists that have an uncanny resemblance to his favorite Japanese female idol!

Other idols Akina Nakamori was compared to online include DAY6 member Sungjin, Kim Sejeong (who is a former member of I.O.I and gugudan), and TWICE member Mina.
