Former IZ*ONE member Jang Wonyoung is being accused of taking lip fillers following a drastic transformation in her latest Innisfree advertisement.
Did Former IZ*ONE Member Jang Wonyoung Get Lip Fillers?
On August 3 and August 12, Innisfree updated their social media accounts to share videos of their latest endorsers, Jang Wonyoung, a former member of IZ*ONE. Her being appointed as the brand's latest endorser already attracted attention, as she is the next idol to represent the brand since Girls' Generation member Yoona. Many were surprised, however, when they saw how different she looked in their videos.

In the videos, Jang Wonyoung's lips appeared thicker, causing her face to look bloated. This led many to believe that the idol had gotten lip fillers to plump up her lips.
Following IZ*ONE disbandment, people speculated that Jang Wonyoung was attempting to move away from her pure and innocent concept, opting to appear more sexy and mature for her solo activities. This has not been well-received by the public. The female idol originally had a small upper lip and a more plump lower lip, but not her upper lip is plumper. Some have criticized the new look as "strange" on the female idol.

However, some have defended the idol from these rumors, saying it is simply a make-up trick to make her lips appear more prominent. Some claim that it is easy to make lips appear more curved, thick, and plump with lipstick, which is why it seems that her lips got bigger.
Currently, Starship Entertainment nor Jang Wonyoung have commented on the rumors.

Following IZ*ONE's disbandment, Jang Wonyoung appeared in several fashion films. Most notably, she appeared in Chaumet's Joséphine Collection and Miu Miu's Maritine.

On July 27, 2021, Amorepacific Corporation announced that Jang Wonyoung was selected as their new must and global ambassador for their natural cosmetics brand, Innisfree.
Currently, she has returned to her trainee status under Starship Entertainment alongside her groupmate and label mate, Ahn Yujin.
However, there is currently no news on if and when Jang Wonyoung will be making her debut once more, and if there is no news if she will debut as a soloist or with a group.
