On Aug. 16, STAYC shared a new teaser image for their upcoming comeback. The photo shows the new K-pop girl group's scheduler for the release of "STEREOTYPE."

STAYC's Comeback with Their First Mini-Album "STEREOTYPE" to Take Place in September
Based on the scheduler for STAYC's comeback, the rookie group will first release concept photos and previews of the concept photos, starting from Tuesday, Aug. 17 to Friday, Aug. 27.
It will be followed by the release of the highlight medley for STAYC's first mini-album, "STEREOTYPE." This highlight medley will treat fans to snippets of the songs that will be included in the album.
A concept trailer will then be uploaded to STAYC's official YouTube channel and social media accounts on Sept. 1. Then, the next day, a preview of the choreography for the album's title track will be unveiled.
Following that, the music video teaser for the title song will come out on Sept. 5. STAYC's comeback with their first mini-album "STEREOTYPE" will then take place on Sept. 6.
"STEREOTYPE" will be officially dropped at 6 p.m. KST, together with the music video for the title song.
STAYC's first mini-album comes in five months following the release of their previous EP "STAYDOM" this past April.
Previously, the new K-pop girl group has released several teaser images for their comeback.

STAYC "ASAP" Makes It to Gaon Charts for Week 32 and July 2021
On April 8, STAYC made their first comeback since their debut with their second single album, "STAYDOM," which features the title track "ASAP."
Produced by hitmakers Black Eyed Pilseung and Jeon Gun, STAYC's "ASAP" is characterized by woodwind synths, a synth bass, and a refreshing rhythm. The girls express their desire to see their ideal type in front of them ASAP, through this song.
On Aug. 12, Gaon Chart released the weekly and monthly rankings for Week 32 of the year and for July.
On the weekly update, STAYC's "ASAP" entered three Gaon Charts. The song climbed down one spot to No. 20 on the Gaon Streaming Chart. It is one of the only two tracks by a fourth-generation group to rank inside the Top 20, with the other one being aespa's "Next Level."

On the monthly Gaon Streaming Chart, "ASAP" descended to No. 17. Despite this, it remains one of the Top 20 most-streamed songs by a fourth-generation group together with "Next Level."
On the weekly Gaon Download Chart, STAYC's "ASAP" climbed up two spots to No. 75, while it plummeted to No. 52 in the monthly rankings.
Finally, on the weekly Gaon Digital Chart, "ASAP" maintained its position at No. 21 after accumulating 12,525,529 more digital points. The track now has more than 233 million total digital points.
On the monthly Gaon Digital Chart, STAYC's "ASAP" climbed down 10 places to No. 18 with 66,081,925 points collected within July 2021.
