iKON Bobby Announces He Will Get Married and Become a Father
iKON Bobby made a surprise announcement about him becoming a father and getting married.
On Aug. 20, Bobby posted a handwritten message addressed to the fans on his personal Instagram account, where he announced that he promised to marry someone and that he will be a father soon.

iKON Bobby to Get Married and Become a Father this Coming September
iKON member Bobby began his message by saying that he has something to tell the fans. He explained that he wrote the letter after thinking about it a lot.
He then revealed that he promised to marry the person he loves and that he will become a father this coming September.

"I'm happy to welcome a new member of my family, but I feel sorrier to the fans who may be disappointed because of my sudden news. I should have informed you sooner, but because of this, I'm sorry for the delay because I was worried about it," Bobby stated.
iKON Bobby then said that he feels a heavy sense of responsibility as he feels like he gave plenty of pressure to those who have always helped and supported him.
The "Love Scenario" rapper continued, "I apologize with all my heart to those who have been shocked or greatly confused by my story."

Bobby went on to say, "To my iKON members, parents, and fans, the people who made me the person I am today and made me the person the world needs even if I am lacking, I will strive to become a person who will not bring shame to all of you, and who will make you proud.
iKON member Bobby concluded his letter by saying that he will do his best to not become a distraction to his fellow iKON members and the fans who are waiting for their activities.
As of writing, YG Entertainment is yet to release an official statement about Bobby's announcement about his marriage and child.

iKON Bobby's Latest Solo Comeback
Meanwhile, Bobby made his first-ever solo comeback with his second studio album, entitled "Lucky Man."
Released on Jan. 25 this year, iKON Bobby's "Lucky Man" is composed of a total of 17 songs, including the title track "U MAD." The male idol took part in the lyric-writing and composition of all the songs.

Moreover, two iKON members are featured on the album, with Junhoe being a featuring artist on "Raining" and Donghyuk on "Ur Soul Ur Body."
iKON Bobby's "U MAD" is about mocking those who follow opportunism and materialism, but at the same time, it conveys the people's anger toward themselves for becoming weak.
In an online press conference, Bobby shared why he chose "U MAD" as the title song of his "Lucky Man" album. He said that it became the title track as it has overflowing energy and is powerful. He added that "U MAD" showcases his intense and charismatic image better than the other songs.
