Rookie Group Solia Disbands after Five Days—Here's Why

Rookie Girl Group SOLIA announces their group's disbandment five days after their debut.

SOLIA was a girl group under Space Music Entertainment which debuted last August 16, 2021. The group has five members - Soree, Hayeon, Suna, Soyeon, and Eunbi - they debuted with the track "Dream."

Solia posted on their official Instagram page on August 22, saying sorry to surprise the fans with bad news. The post further explained that because of some circumstances with the agency, the company can no longer lead their team. So they decided to end the group after a lengthy discussion with Space Music Entertainment.

The post further states that even if it was a very short time, the members wanted to express their sincere gratitude and apologies to the fans who poured out all the love and support for them during their debut.

Their leader Soree stated that it is regretful as much as the short promotion. However, she still thinks that she was happy and she had a lot of fun with the members and fans who supported her during their time with each other. She adds that it might be over but she asks on the members behalf to support them in the future.

Seonah added that she hasn't been living as Solia for a while, however, she is still thankful that she and the other members are receiving so much love and support.

Why did they disband so quickly?

The rookie girl group debuted only five days ago, but now it has come to a depressing end for their company, Space Music Entertainment, has announced that the agency has no more funds and they cannot support the group's future activities any longer. That is why the members of Solia and Space Music Entertainment agreed with the decision to disband the Girl Group.

Regrettably, Solia's official Instagram account confirmed that the group will be disbanding on August 23, only five days after their debut.

Because of this, they made history in the K-Pop industry to be the fastest K-Pop group to disband after their debut.
