BLACKPINK's Pop-Up Exhibitions Sold Out, YG Adds More Slots for Fans

The POP-UP exhibition that was launched in celebration of BLACKPINK's 5th anniversary is getting a good response from BLINKs worldwide.

According to the announcement on the group's official social media accounts, the Pop-Up exhibition site is located at YG Entertainment's new headquarters, and it will be open from 11 AM to 8 PM (KST). The exhibition will run for 10 days, it opened last August 21 and will end on August 30.

The exhibition contains attractions like visual displays that explain the concepts of BLACKPINK's hit singles, an experiential booth, and also a photo booth that is offering more fan experience.

BLACKPINK Pop-up has been operating free of charge. However, it was only for those who pre-ordered it at the "The Same" cafe building, which is in front of YG's new office building in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul, since August 21. Also, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of physical viewers of the exhibit will be limited. The visitors will have to pre-reserve their tickets online and comply with the social distancing rules and regulations. For those BLINKs who can't physically visit the exhibit can still view the pop-up contents online.

Aside from viewing photos and stage costumes that will allow fans to look back on BLACKPINK's past journey, an empirical space is also provided to give a differentiated experience to the fans.

To be specific, in the mini content zone where the fans can leave messages for the BLACKPINK members. Their voices left by the other members can also be heard while thanking their fans, giving an additional touch of emotion.

Furthermore, the media experience space where the set and lyrics in the music video changes according to the movement, the costume exhibition zone, and also the Giverway Zone together with pop-up visit gifts that captivated the BLINKs' hearts by providing a special fun.

BLACKPINK's 5th Anniversary Pop-Up Exhibition Sold out

The BLACKPINK Pop-up exhibition sold out at the same time as the 1st and 2nd pre-bookings were opened, and the SNS and fan communities are now lining up with visit verification reviews through the use of selfie zones and photo zones.

Now that inquiries from the fans about the reservations are pouring in, YG decided to increase the number of visits. YG Entertainment stated that in order to repay BLINKs' support, they are opening an additional reservation page on August 26 at 1 PM (KST). They are hoping that more fans can share their activities and memories in the exhibition.
