The choreography shows the boys clenching their two fists with their thumbs up, moving their hands up and down. This means "fun" in sign language. They then bring out the palm of one hand and form a letter A with the two fingers of their other hand. The A on top and the palm acting as a stage means "dance" in sign language.

Thousands of viewers worldwide were deeply moved by BTS's meaningful performance at the United Nations headquarters. This rings true to the sign language interpreter for a local broadcast of the event. On September 20, an overseas fan shared a video she recorded of the sign language interpreter reacting to BTS's performance.

The male had delivered BTS's speech in sign language for the deaf and speech-impaired audiences. While he remained calm and collected during the speech, he was soon seen smiling brightly when BTS's performed the sign language choreography in "Permission to Dance."

As he watched BTS dance, the smile never left his face. Viewers who saw this video could not help but shed tears, saying that the sign language interpreter must have felt both touched and impressed by BTS's actions. His reaction caused hearts to melt worldwide, and people could not help but shed tears over the situation.

Back when Permission to Dance was released in July 2021, deaf fans worldwide who caught BTS's message in their dance also revealed how touching the group's actions were. The boys are genuinely breaking prejudice with their work!
