BTS Gifts Coldplay a Modernized Hanbok During Meet Up in New York

Recently on September 23 KST, BTS and Coldplay shared on their respective Twitter accounst a new photo of them while they were in New York. In BTS' post, the group added the caption "My Universe Crew! (+Modernized hanbok)," along with a photo of the seven BTS members standing alongside the members of the British rock band, Coldplay.

In particular, each of the Coldplay members can be seen wearing a modernized version of a hanbok, South Korea's traditional clothing, that was gifted by BTS!

The two group's meeting with each other isn't so random. In fact, this is the second time that BTS and Coldplay met up ahead of the release of their collaboration single, "My Universe."

Earlier this year in April, Coldplay's vocalist and frontman, Chris Martin, visited South Korea to meet with BTS and work on their collaboration project together. He also visited the office building of BTS' agency, HYBE.

Meanwhile, BTS and Coldplay's upcoming collaboration single, "My Universe," is slated to drop this coming September 24 at 1pm KST.

BTS is also in New York for their official events as the Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture, appointed by South Korean President Moon Jae In. They recently attended the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, where they spoke at the Sustainable Development Goals Moment.

BTS and Coldplay Release New Teaser and Schedule for 'My Universe'

Earlier this month, BTS and Coldplay excited fans following the announcement that they would be joining hands to release the new collaboration single by hitmaker and producer, Max Martin.

And recently on September 22, Coldplay's label released a schedule that fans can look forward to following the release of "My Universe."

According to the schedule, the release of "My Universe" and its official lyric video will be released on September 24 at 1pm KST. On September 26 at 9pm KST, a documentary called "Inside My Universe" will be released.

Schedule for 'My Universe'

BTS and Coldplay will also be releasing two additional versions of the song, a "Supernova 7 Mix" and an acoustic version, on September 27 at 8am KST.

Finally, an official music of "My Universe" will also be released. However, the exact date of its release has yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, the two groups also shared a sneak peek of the song on Coldplay's social media.
