On the latest teaser clip for tvN's entertainment program, "Amazing Saturday," aired on the 5th, the interaction of SM Entertainment artists captured the interest of K-pop enthusiasts.
In the preview, aespa Karina and Winter appeared as special guests – raising anticipation for their interaction with SHINee Key and SNSD Taeyeon who are both MCs of the show!
Girls' Generation Taeyeon x aespa Winter Flaunt Sibling-Like Energy in the Latest Preview of 'Amazing Saturday'
On Oct. 5, the "Rookie Monster" aespa dropped their first mini-album, "Savage," following the success of their singles, "Black Mamba" and "Next Level."
Winter and Karina announced their appearance on tvN's "Amazing Saturday."
On the preview titled, "Next Keycarina x Little Taengoo Winter," the episode didn't only raise anticipation for the virtual world special concept but due to interaction between SM Entertainment artists.
In particular, SHINee Key expressed his awe after seeing Taeyeon and Winter, who sat down next to each other, saying, "They really look alike."
Taeyeon has also certified that she looks like aespa Winter by giving a satisfying facial reaction and said: "They say we look like each other."
Winter responded with a shy smile, showing off warm chemistry between seniors and juniors.
Furthermore, the short clip also hinted at the proof that Taeyeon and Winter couldn't hide their uncanny similarities. During the dictation game corner, Taeyeon lets Winter copy her answer – as if the latter is an AI receiving data from a human.
Meanwhile, the full "CTRL C + CTRL V" interaction of SNSD Taeyeon and aespa Winter in "Amazing Saturday" will be aired on October 9 at 7:30 p.m. KST.
aespa Creates Another 'Last Song Syndrome' with their New Track, 'Savage'
On the other hand, aespa is already creating a new syndrome upon the release of its first mini-album, "Savage," and the title track with the same name.
As of Oct. 6, the quartet proved its "rookie monster" status by occupying various music charts, ranking first on real-time charts such as Melon, Genie, and Bugs, China's QQ Music, and Japan's AWA.
In addition to this, "Savage" also topped the iTunes top album chart in 17 regions around the world, including Japan, Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, Russia, Denmark, Vietnam, the Philippines, India, Peru, Malaysia, Oman, Indonesia, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, Laos, and Mongolia.
As of now, the official music video of "SAVAGE" already surpassed 10 million views in less about 12 hours after its release, not to mention that they also wrote another record after beating 400,000 pre-orders during the pre-order period with its first physical album since its debut.
With these, expectations on aespa's another glowing era are high, following the K-pop craze "Next Level" showcased.
