On the 5th, SM Entertainment announced the winners for its annual "Halloween Costume Contest."
In the Top 8, SHINee Onew, NCT Dream Chenle, Super Junior Shindong, and more were determined as the artists who delivered the spookiest attire during the Halloween celebration.

On October 31, SM Entertainment held its annual Halloween party, "SMTOWN WONDERLAND 2021," this time with the theme, "Welcome to SM HALLOWEEN HOUSE").
In particular, the event has been well received every year since its establishment in 2013. Starting as an offline contest where artists under the agency gathered to a party wearing their favorite hero/villain costumes, the event became popular among K-pop fans that it was also referred to as the "Met Gala of K-pop."
Meanwhile, on this day (Friday), the much-awaited list of winners were finally announced and instead of just three titles,
SM Entertainment generously gave a total of eight titles for the following artists:
1. SHINee Onew - SM BEST DRESSER MASTER
2. NCT DREAM Chenle - SM BEST DRESSER DIAMOND
3. Super Junior Shindong - SM BEST DRESSER PLATINUM
4. aespa Giselle - SM BEST DRESSER GOLD
5-6. NCT 127 Jungwoo and Taeyong - SM BEST DRESSER SILVER
7. Red Velvet Yeri - SM BEST DRESSER BRONZE
8. WayV Ten - SM BEST DRESSER BRONZE

SM Halloween Costume Winners to Donate Prizes to Beautiful Foundation
The winners who won will receive prize money; however, this money will be donated to the Beautiful Foundation instead under the names of eight winners to help children who will be transitioning out of foster care.
This is not the first time that SM Entertainment artists have shown their kind hearts through charity. In March, the agency has donated EXO x Yoo Jae Suk's collaboration song, Dancing King" proceeds to the same organization as well.
The revenue from the song released in 2016 will be used in participating in campaigns to develop children's talents and realize their dreams, including fashion bags with messages to improve the awareness of children.
Also, SM Entertainment groups including TVXQ, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT and aespa were involved in "SMile."
In 2014, the company launched the social contribution brand and is actively carrying out social contribution activities using SM's content and infrastructure, including regular volunteer activities, talent donations for artists, and music education support for children in Asia and Korea.
