ONF has attained another new first-week sales record for the third time this year with their latest album "Goosebumps."

ONF's 'Goosebumps' Hits the Group's New First-Week Sales for the Third Time in 2021

On Dec. 10, WM Entertainment announced that ONF's sixth mini-album "Goosebumps" achieved the boy group's new highest first-week sales amount. The company specified that a total of 93,945 copies were sold from Dec. 3 to 9.

This sales figure surpasses ONF's previous first-week sales record of 87,117 copies set by their popup album "POPPING" which was released in August.

This is the fourth time this year that ONF broke their own first-week sales record. First, their first full album "ONF: MY NAME" sold over 58,700 copies in February in the first week, beating the record of 27,680 copies of their 2020 mini-album "SPIN OFF."

Next, ONF's repackaged album "CITY OF ONF" surpassed "ONF: MY NAME" by selling more than 82,300 copies in April. Then, "POPPING" was released in August and sold over 87,000 copies.

Remarkably, ONF has become the sixth K-pop group in history to have a repackaged album ("CITY OF ONF") that had more sales than the main album ("ONF: MY NAME") on the Hanteo Chart. The only other acts that previously achieved this feat are BTS, EXO, SHINee, Wanna One and Stray Kids.

ONF's "Goosebumps" first-week sales record is even more meaningful as it shows their steady growth in popularity.

At the time of its release on Dec. 3, ONF's sixth mini-album ranked inside the top 5 of iTunes Albums charts in at least 13 countries including Argentina, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Finland, Russia, Hong Kong, and more.

Additionally, "Goosebumps" ranked first on iTunes K-pop Albums charts in eight regions including Japan, Belgium and Australia.

Besides the album, its title track, also called "Goosebumps" is receiving a lot of attention from the public. It not only topped major music charts in Korea but also exceeded 10 million views in less than three days of release.

ONF's "Goosebumps" is a dance song based on the alternative funk genre with a powerful bass riff. ONF member MK participated in the composition of the track.

ONF's 'Goosebumps' and Other Music Releases Enter Weekly and Monthly Gaon Charts

In related news, ONF made it to Gaon Chart's weekly rankings for Nov. 28 to Dec. 4 and monthly rankings for November.

On the weekly Gaon Album Chart, ONF's sixth mini-album "Goosebumps" debuted at No. 7. This is the group's fourth Top 10 entry this year alone.

On the monthly chart, ONF's previous album "You Complete Me" ranked No. 90 after jumping 79 spots from its last position. It sold 4,742 more copies in the past month.

On the weekly Gaon Digital Chart, ONF's "Goosebumps" entered at No. 121 with over 3.32 million digital points.

And, on the weekly Gaon Digital Chart, ONF has six entries including "Goosebumps" at No. 2 and member Hyojin's "Need Your Heart" (Secret Royal Inspector & Joy OST) at No. 161.
