BTS Jin's 'Yours' Becomes the Fastest Korean Solo Track to Reach 100 No. 1s in iTunes History

BTS Jin's 'Jirisan' OST 'Yours' is the Fastest Korean Solo Song to Hit 100 No. 1s in iTunes History
On Nov. 7, BTS Jin's "Yours" was officially released on music platforms after it was briefly revealed in the "Jirisan" episode the night before. "Yours" serves as the main theme song of the said drama.
Right after its release, the "Jirisan" OST already broke several records in terms of the shortest period to reach certain total numbers of No. 1s on the iTunes Song Chart. And, recently, another historic milestone was obtained.

On Dec. 19, BTS Jin's OST impressively recorded a total of 100 No. 1s on iTunes. The track took only 42 days or one month and 12 days to obtain the mark, which makes it the fastest Korean solo song to score a total of 100 No. 1s in iTunes history.
Even right before it hit 100, "Yours" broke another record when it achieved its 99th No. 1. The "Jirisan" OST surpassed Adele's "Easy On Me" (98 No. 1s) as the solo song with the most No. 1s on iTunes Song Chart in 2021.
Naturally, BTS Jin's "Yours" becomes the song by an Asian soloist with the most No. 1s on iTunes in 2021.

Shortly after its release on Nov. 7, BTS Jin's OST has become the fastest Korean solo song to have 80 and 90 No. 1s in iTunes history. These feats were achieved in 7.5 hours and 31 hours respectively.
Moreover, "Yours" attained the most No. 1s for a solo song within 24 hours of its release, recording a total of 86 No. 1s.
Apart from setting new records regarding the shortest period and most No. 1s, the "Jirisan" OST also broke other iTunes milestones. It is now the first Korean solo song to spend three days atop the Worldwide iTunes since PSY's "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman."

BTS Jin's Billboard Achievements with 'Jirisan' OST 'Yours'
"Yours" by Jin has also attained numerous achievements on Billboard following its release. It has become the first song by a Korean male soloist to enter the Top 100 of Billboard's Global Excl. U.S. and is also the first Korean solo OST to do so. What's more, it hit the highest debut among Korean male solo songs by taking No. 67.
BTS Jin's OST has also become the first song by a Korean male soloist to enter Billboard Global 200 as well as the first Korean solo OST in history to debut on the chart.

Further, "Yours" is the first-ever Korean solo OST to land on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100. The track even debuted on Billboard Japan Hot 100, becoming the first Korean OST to do so.
Another impressive milestone is that BTS Jin's "Yours" recorded the highest debut sales for a Korean OST in the United States.
