In particular, the aforementioned female idols made an appearance on the afternoon of the 25th at the annual SBS Gayo Daejeon. The music festival was held at Incheon Namdong Gymnasium and was joined by various music artists in the K-pop scene.
The theme of the 2021 SBS Gayo Daejeon (Music Festival) is "WELCOME," which is designed with the hope of returning to the era of "contact" where singers, fans, music, and people can meet again after a long "non-contact" era.

Among them, aespa Karina became a hot topic for her CG-like visuals. The Korean media outlet My Daily described the "Next Level" singer's visual as "her expressionless face resembles a doll."
Karina's mysterious and various feelings in every camera angle were also highlighted, implying that the rookie star doesn't have any weak side in terms of her visual.

2021 SBS Gayo Daejeon Records 2.5% National Rating Following Broadcast
On the other hand, the annual event ended up successfully with positive responses from K-pop enthusiasts and viewers.
According to Nielsen Korea, an audience rating research company, the first part of the ceremony recorded a national rating of 2.5% and the second part 1.7%.
The event also concluded safely, after SBS brought back its face-to-face celebration in two years since the pandemic.
