TC Chandler Names BLACKPINK Lisa Named as the 'Most Beautiful Face of 2021'
On December 28 KST, TC Chandler has revealed their list for the "100 Most Beautiful Face of 2021," and had recorded an all-time high with more than 2.5 million nominations submitted this year, according to reports.
The "100 Most Beautiful Faces" is an annual list that has been published by TC Chandler since 1990. Every year, more than a million netizens send in nominations on who they think deserves to be named as the most beautiful, and vote for the Top 100 people included in the list.
As K-Pop has become more prominent all over the world over the years, more and more Korean stars and K-Pop idols are nominated in the list, and eventually making it within the Top 100.
This year, BLACKPINK's Thai member, Lisa, made it on the list. And not only is she on the list, but she also swept it to become the No. 1 "Most Beautiful Face of 2021"!
This marks Lisa's first time topping the list, but her sixth year in a row being included since 2016.
Back in 2016, Lisa entered the list for the first time and ranked at No. 41 as the "Most Beautiful Face of 2021," and has since then been slowly making her way to the top.

BLACKPINK Lisa as the "Most Beautiful Face" through the years
In 2017, she ranked at No. 15, at No. 9 in 2018, at No. 3 in 2019, and at No. 2 just last year in 2020.
With Lisa's popularity all around the world ever since she made her debut in the same year she entered the list, it's no wonder that she has topped the list this time around.
Not only is Lisa incredibly talented in rapping, dancing, and have amazing stage presence, but her beauty inside-and-out, as well as influence, definitely prove why she deserves to be No. 1.
Of course, her fellow BLACKPINK members are also included in the list. This year, Jennie ranked at No. 30, and has been on the list for six years now.
On the list for their third year in a row are Jisoo and Rosé. This year, Jisoo lands at No. 26, while Rosé enters the Top 20 at No. 17.

In other news, Lisa has officially surpassed more than 500 million streams on Spotify with the three tracks she has released so far: "LALISA," "MONEY," and her collaboration track with DJ Snake, Ozuna, and Megan Thee Stallion "SG."
This also means that Lisa is the fastest K-Pop solo artist to do so, only taking her 103 days to hit 500 million since her debut back in September.
Lisa's "MONEY" is also the first and only K-Pop song by a solo artist to rank within Spotify's Global chart for more than 100 days.
