TWICE's 'The Feels' Makes A Debut on Billboard's Pop Airplay, 3rd K-pop Girl Group To Enter the Chart

TWICE Enters The Pop Airplay Chart with 'The Feels'

On January 4th, Billboard updated that TWICE's "The Feels" has entered its "Pop Airplay" chart at #40, three months after its release.

This is TWICE's first career entry on the "Pop Airplay" chart since its debut in 2015. Furthermore, they are also the third K-Pop girl group to make an entry on the chart.

Billboard's "Pop Airplay" chart, which is also called the "Mainstream Top 40 Airplay," is a 40-song music chart that ranks the most famous songs that are based on the number of total spins on a group of top 40 radio stations across the United States.

TWICE Achieved 8th 400 Million Views Music Video with 'Feel Special'

TWICE's 'Feel Special' music video has surpassed 400 million views on YouTube. The group is making a lot of progress on YouTube.

On December 31, the "Feel Special" music video exceeded 400 million YouTube views. This is the group's 8th 400 million views.

"Feel Special" is a song inspired by JYP Entertainment's representative producer Park Jin-young's conversations with TWICE members. The lyrics of "a difficult and tiring moment, a heartbreaking moment presented by precious people" gained sympathy from listeners and received great love all over the world.

The music video, which expresses the song's main message, 'special moment', with a warm golden background and colorful objects, blends with the song's lyrical atmosphere to convey a touching feeling.

They are also showing the potential of the "K-Pop representative girl group" on the US Billboard charts. Their 3rd full-length album, "Formula of Love: O+T=<3," released on November 12th, 2021, is still on the Billboard main chart as of January 1st, 2022. It ranked 36th on the Billboard 200, up by 48 places from the previous week.

On November 27th, it entered the "Billboard 200" chart at #3 and set its own record. It then went on the 16th spot on December 4, 26th on December 11th, 66th, on December 18th, and 84th on December 25th.

Then, the group re-entered #65 on the Billboard chart "Artist 100," which comprehensively counts and ranks artists' performances, and in the 6th week of its release, it was listed in 7 categories on the latest Billboard charts and showed off its global influence.

TWICE's first English single, "The Feels," also recorded charts for 12 weeks in a row, gaining long-run popularity.

Meanwhile, TWICE successfully completed the first performance of the fourth world tour 'TWICE 4TH WORLD TOUR 'Ⅲ'' at KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul on December 25 and 26.

They will have seven performances in 5 cities in the United States and will meet the fans who have been waiting for a long time. On April 23 and 24, there will be two performances at the Tokyo Dome, which is said to be the "sacred place of Japanese performance." TWICE plans to announce additional world tour locations in the future.
