Ex-Lovelyz Mijoo Candidly Responds to Plastic Surgery Rumor, 'Flirtatious' Concept as an Entertainer
Former Lovelyz Mijoo drew attention for her candid personality. In a recent fun interview, the female idol-turned entertainer addressed questions about plastic surgery and her adorable flirtatious concept with male celebrities.
As of January 17, Lee Mijoo's appearance on YouTube channel Studio Waffle's "Turkids on the block" has amassed 1.5 million views in just three days since its release on Jan. 14, proving her popularity.
As the video attracted more interest from K-pop fans and viewers, the scenes where Mijoo mentioned cosmetic surgery and clarified her image became a hot topic among netters.

In the clip, comedian Lee Yong Jin, the MC of the show created a fun atmosphere along with the goofy personality of Mijoo. As they "casually" talked about topics usually asked with care on idols, the host suddenly asked Lee Mijoo, "Are you a natural beauty?"
Mijoo, who is often praised for her natural visual, honestly replied, " I got cosmetic procedures," implying that she only enhanced her beauty, rather than reconstructing it or having plastic surgery.
Despite honesty, the female star made the set burst into laughter as she added, "But why do you ask? There's a thing called privacy," embarrassing Lee Yong Jin.

In response, viewers praised Mijoo's personality.
"She's not just pretty outside but her personality is beautiful, too," "I love her, she's so honest," "Idols who talk with sincerity like her is rare nowadays," and more.

In the episode, Lee Yong Jin also talked about the female idol's attitude or concept as an entertainer.
"You're popular as an entertainment character, and you are 'flirting' with male guests regardless of their job. Why do you stick to such a character?" MC Lee asked.
"I'm not pushing it, but I am sincere (person) every day. It's not like I sincerely like this person (in a romantic way), but I respect him," she explained.
With this, the host asked the female idol if she's willing to date one of them and Mijoo genuinely answered, "I will, but there's no one who fell yet."
As the show went on, Lee Mijoo hinted at her ideal type and said, "I want someone who's pretty when he smiles and only likes me. Apparently, a man who is over 180cm tall and has fair skin is good. But a man with too much muscles is a little bit hard for me to handle."
