The 7th "TOP TEN AWARDS" preliminary voting has officially opened! 30 nominees are completed by K-pop soloists and K-pop groups, such as Stray Kids, TWICE, ONF, IU, TXT, ATEEZ, MAMAMOO, and more. Is your favorite group on the list? Check for the voting mechanics!  

For about a month from Jan. 26, 30 idol teams representing K-pop will compete for the "best global artist" position.

In particular, "TOP TEN AWARDS (hereinafter referred to as TTA)" marked its seventh anniversary this year. Organized by Korea's entertainment media, Ten Asia, the 7th TTA is an event to select the "best global artists" in the second half of 2021.

The nominees are selected based on the Top 28 idols on the "Idol Champ" app's "Acham Chart," while others are selected through the pre-voting on Twitter last year. The main rule is that the idol is active in the second half of 2021.

TTA Voting Mechanics: Who Can Vote, Where to Vote, Voting Period + How will the Winner be Determined

For those who are not familiar with TTA, the vote will be held for K-pop enthusiasts from 10 countries, including South Korea, the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Japan, Thailand, Mexico, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.

The 30 nominees will compete in the preliminary vote which will run from January 26 to February 8. The Internet Protocol (IP) by country is identified to select the top teams in each country.

The top 10 idols who won in each country through the "national preliminaries" round will be selected as the "Top 10 Best Global Artist in the Second Half of 2021" and will advance to the finals.

The final vote will be held from February 10 to February 23 for the top teams in each country. The final winner will be announced on February 24.

To vote, K-pop fans should sign up for a membership on the official TTA website. After logging in, free voting tickets will be given. Voting is possible up to 30 times a day. If fans prefer to have more voting tickets, this can be obtained through in-app payment, coupon registration, and advertisement viewing.
