Weight has always been a sensitive issue within the K-Pop community, and would always draw divided opinions from both Korean and international fans.
Over on the online Korean community platform, Nate Pann, ITZY's youngest member, Yuna, became a topic of discussion among netizens for her weight.
On Nate Pann, netizens shared a series of different screenshot photos of Yuna from ITZY's performances for "Mafia In The Morning" and "LOCO."
In the photos, Yuna can be seen dancing. However, in each photo, Yuna's ribs can be seen poking out and being prominent, especially as Yuna often wears crop tops in ITZY's performances.
The photos of Yuna and her ribs drew concern among many netizens for her seemingly alarming thin figure, with many pointing out that she is too thin for her height of around 170cm (5'7") and as the tallest member of ITZY.

Many have also expressed their worry for the young idol's health. In fact, Yuna had revealed on the idol platform Bubble back in October 2021 that she weighs only 46.8kg.
Some comments from netizens read, "It's not only her waist, but her arms and legs are also super skinny," "Yuna is around 172cm tall but she only weighs 46kg. That is too skinny," and "Her body looked more well-balanced back when she debuted," among others.

While others are worried about the ITZY member's weight, many have also come to Yuna's defense, stating that her ribs showing is normal whenever she performs, and that it happens to other idols as well, and not just Yuna.
They also explained that while Yuna does have a slim figure, she is not exceedingly thin, weak, or even unhealthy. This is also due to her amazing proportions and naturally small waist which can make her look more slim.
Many have also praised Yuna for her slim yet toned physique and 90-degree shoulders. Some have also said that she is a legend in the K-Pop industry for her visuals, facial expressions, vocals, and dancing.

In other news, ITZY released their first studio album "Crazy In Love" back in September 2021. The album contains a total of 16 tracks, along with their lead single "LOCO."
"Crazy In Love" went on to receive a platinum certification by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) for selling more than 500,000 album copies.
It also peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's World Album and Independent Album charts, and No. 11 on Billboard 200.
