In a broadcast, Super Junior Heechul hinted at his contract expiration with SM Entertainment this year. He hilariously teased then that if he left, it would be because of THIS hilarious reason.
Super Junior Heechul showed a playful side with his co-host Kim Minah by showing an "upset" reaction when the TV host teased him for being clueless about other SM artists.
As a result, the male idol joked about leaving SM Entertainment and pointed Kim as the person to be blamed for it.

On the latest episode of KBS Joy's "20th Century Hit Song," aired on Feb. 4, the hosts Heechul and Minah discussed the original hit songs from the past that captured the tastes of the MZ Generation, under the theme, "Masterpiece Is Back!"
On this day, Minah talked about Red Velvet who released a 2017 remake of Yoon Jong Shin's hit track, "Rebirth" initially released in 1996. However, Heechul, who is Red Velvet's "self-appointed mother" appeared unaware of this fact.
Surprised, Kim Minah scolded Heechul and added, "The music video was filmed by Shindong. How could you not know?" With this additional information, the "Sorry Sorry" singer was left speechless when his co-members name was even mentioned.
In response, Kim Minah teased Heechul by saying, "You really don't know? Give us some attention! Please pay attention!"
Heechul who finally found his words then started sulking. "My contract ends this year. When I leave the company, I'm leaving because of you!
"I'm going out because of this program! By teasing me like this," he pointed to the program's, staff as well, adding laughter.
Meanwhile, Heechul last renew his contract with SM along with Super Junior members in 2011. As he hinted his contract expiration this year after about 10 years, the male idol draw attention to whether he will indeed leave or stay in the agency. However, numerous fans believe that he will re-sign or he already did, given that most of his programs are under SM Culture & Contents, a subsidiary label of SM.
Super Junior Heechul Reportedly Purchases New Villa Apartment in Gangnam
On the other hand, Heechul, a member of Super Junior reportedly purchased a 5 billion Korean won villa-type luxury apartment located in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
According to Maeil Economic Daily's report on Feb. 5, a real estate industry insider revealed that the male idol and entertainment "signed" a contract for Sangji Ritzville Kylom in Seoul, worth 5 billion KRW or approximately 4.17 million USD.
SM Entertainment and Heechul are yet to confirm this news.
