Brown Eyed Girls JeA Relocates to Jeju Island For THIS Touching Reason

Brown Eyed Girls member JeA has a touching reason behind her decision to relocate to Jeju Island three years ago.

According to reports, JeA is a self-confessed dog lover who currently has three dogs at home.

Before moving to Jeju Island, JeA adopted her first dog in 2013 while appearing in "PetoReaList." The performer saw her first dog, Bandal, shivering in the cold while inside a dog shelter.

JeA couldn't keep her eyes off Bandal at the time so she decided to adopt him.

Around the same time, she adopted her second dog, which happened to be a puppy of her mom's friend's dog.

The Brown Eyed Girls singer named her second dog, Mongshil.

In 2019, JeA decided to permanently relocate to Jeju Island after seeing how much fun her dogs had when they climbed the mountains and played on the grass. And while they were starting their new life on the island, JeA adopted a third dog named Hongsook.

On her Instagram account, JeA regularly shares photos of videos of herself with her adorable dogs. It's evident that they have found their forever home on the island.

JeA as Brown Eyed Girls' Leader

JeA, whose birth name is Kim Hyo Jin was born on Sept. 18, 1981. She hailed from South Korea and lived there with her family for decades.

The singer is also the leader of Brown Eyed Girls. But what makes the group unique and interesting is the fact that JeA handpicked each member.

In 2006, Brown Eyed Girls was launched under the independent label, Nega Network. But it was only in 2013 when JeA had the opportunity to release her debut album, "Just JeA."

In 2008, Brown Eyed Girls released their first mini-album, "With Love" The album had an EDM vibe to it especially their song, "LOVE."

A year later, the all-girl group garnered success following the release of "Abracadabra." But a lot of people from South Korea criticized the music video for the track and said that it's too provocative.

In 2011, Brown Eyed Girls released their album, "An Inconvenient Truth," which featured JeA's original compositions. "Sixth Sense," one of the songs in the album, became an even bigger hit than "Abracadabra."

Four years later, all the members' contracts under Nega Network expired. They decided to move to a different agency in the same year.

Brown Eyed Girls is currently under Mystic Entertainment, but they have not released a new song or album in years.

Where are the Brown Eyed Girls Now?

In November 2019, Brown Eyed Girls opened up about what would've been their first comeback in four years.

JeA told Elle magazine that she and the other members of Brown Eyed Girls are all excited to sing and perform for their fans.

She also said that it's wonderful to see their fans grow up just like them because it's been over a decade since they debuted in the industry.

Narsha added that their fans still support them after all these years, and this is enough to get them going.

The other members of Brown Eyed Girls include Miryo and Gain.
