Suzy Announces Comeback as a Singer With New Digital Single in Mid-February
On February 10 KST, former Miss A member, Suzy, who is now active as an actress, announced through her Instagram account that she will be making her return as a singer with her new digital single "Satellite" on February 17.
As Suzy is currently promoting as an actress, she hasn't been able to release new music in over four years. Thus, her return as a singer with a new song has been highly-awaited, especially by her fans.

This will also mark her first release since her second mini-album "Faces of Love" in 2018, and her first release under her current label Management SOOP, after departing from JYP Entertainment back in 2019 following the end of her exclusive contract.
According to reports, Suzy's new track "Satellite" will be a song where you can feel a new aspect and atmosphere of Suzy as a vocalist, and will be different from her previous releases.

It was also revealed that the singer herself had participated in the song's production by writing the lyrics, and shared that "Satellite" would be about expressing her longing for something that is out of reach. However, she has unchanging feelings and that she would always be by it's side despite her yearning.
"Satellite" is also a collaboration project with one of South Korea's top singer-songwriter and producer, and former Loveholics' leader Kang Hyun Min working on the song as well.
"Satellite" is also said to be inspired by the British pop genre.

Meanwhile, over on Suzy's Instagram account, she shared a teaser photo for "Satellite." In the picture, Suzy can be seen looking to the side against a blue hue.
"Satellite" is slated to release on February 17 at 6pm KST on various music sites.

In other news, Suzy's last music release was back in 2018, with her second mini-album "Faces of Love," which featured seven original tracks, as well as her title track "Holiday" featuring DPR Live.
As an actress, Suzy has been actively starring in various dramas and films. More recently, she starred in SBS' drama "Vagabond" opposite Lee Seung Gi in 2019.
In 2020, Suzy starred in tvN's "Start Up" and Kakao TV's film "Live Your Strength."
This year, Suzy is starring in Coupang Play's web series "Anna," as well as the upcoming sci-fi fantasy film "Wonderland."
