Former 2NE1 Dara has introduced her cherished items mainly on variety shows in the past, but this is the first time that she revealed her dressing room through an online housewarming party.

While showing the variety of jackets and coats she owns, Sandara Park revealed a gift she received from BIGBANG G-Dragon, who has been her longtime friend since becoming labelmates under YG Entertainment.

During their early years in the industry, many K-pop fans ship Dara and G-Dragon for their closeness and chemistry. The fans even came up with the loveteam name "DaraGon."

In the video, Park showed a white rider jacket and introduced it as the one "customized by GD himself." The "Fire" singer then shared the backstory about it.

According to Sandara Park, G-Dragon had a tour before his military service and she joined as a guest at one stop, which was in the Philippines. "When you do a guest for MV or concert, the host prepares a gift for invitees because they're usually friends," Dara continued.

So, former 2NE1 Dara asked him for a rider jacket as a gift. And, that's how BIGBANG G-Dragon ended up giving her a customized white rider jacket.

This is not the first time that Park showed that item. Back in 2018, the "I Don't Care" singer wore the personalized jacket during her "Vogue Dress Room" session.

At the time, she shared, "When G-Dragon fell in love with drawing, he would draw on bags or jackets and that's how this was prettily made."

Sandara Park Gears Up for Solo Debut under ABYSS Company

In May 2021, Sandara Park parted ways with YG Entertainment after 17 years since joining the company in 2004. She is the last 2NE1 member to leave the label, following Minzy, CL and Park Bom.

Three months later, Dara signed with ABYSS Company, home to Sunmi, GOT7 BamBam, Park Won and Urban Zakapa. New profile photos and videos of her were shared on social media.

This past Sept. 26, Dara shared a 41-second video on her YouTube channel to announce her long-awaited solo debut that will soon happen. She also asked her fans to think of a new fandom name and share their ideas in the comments section.

In the past months, Sandara Park has been active in appearing on variety shows and musicals, as well as doing beauty-related promotions. She was not able to release any solo song or album despite being with YG Entertainment even after 2NE1 disbanded, and this is what many fans find disappointing.
