TREASURE's 'JIKJIN' Music Video Earns Group a New Personal Record
According to TREASURE's label, YG Entertainment, on February 21 KST, the 12-member boy group's music video for their comeback's title track "JIKJIN," has already surpassed 30 million views on TREASURE's official Youtube channel as of 12:36 pm on the same day.
This means that TREASURE is showing their remarkable growth, making "JIKJIN" their fastest music video to hit 30 million views, with only five days and 18 hours to its record following its release back on February 15.
Compared to TREASURE's August 2020 release, "BOY," which recently hit 100 million views on Youtube, the number of views that "JIKJIN" received over the same time period is three times more this time around.

At the same time, TREASURE also released a special stage performance music video of "JIKJIN" on February 20.
A day after the performance music video's release, it has already exceeded two million views. This means that it has surpassed nearly half of the cumulative number of views for stage videos on music broadcasts for their existing title songs in just a day and a half.
Meanwhile, TREASURE's album, "The First Step: Chapter One," which features "JIKJIN" as the title track, had sold more than 700,000 album copies as of February 21 KST.
In addition, the album also topped numerous iTunes charts in over 30 countries and regions, including iTunes Worldwide Albums chart.

Not only that, but TREASURE also achieved first place in Hanteo Chart's weekly album chart, setting a new record for the album's first-week sales.
"JIKJIN" also swept the top spot in major foreign music sites, such as Line Music's Top 100, Rakuten Music, AWA, and mu-mo in Japan, and Apple Music and iTunes.
Meanwhile, the "JIKJIN" music video was directed by former Mnet producer, Lee Sang Yoon, with the budget for production costs reportedly at a whopping 500 million KRW (around $417,000 USD). So it's not a surprise that the music video is receiving as much love from fans!

More About 'The Second Step: Chapter One'
In other news, "The Second Step: Chapter One" is TREASURE's first mini-album released since their debut back in August 2020.
The album, released on February 15, consists a total of four songs, and six on the CD. Along with "JIKJIN," the album includes songs "U," "Darari," "It's Okay," "BFF (Best Friend Forever)," and "Gonna Be Fine."
