On Nov. 1 of last year, Woollim Entertainment announced that seven out of eight members of Lovelyz will leave the agency and one of them is Jin. Baby Soul (who now goes by the name Lee Su Jeong) is the only one who renewed her contract with the label.
Since then, each Lovelyz member has been focusing on either their solo promotions or private lives.

On Feb. 21, former Lovelyz member Jin updated her Instagram story to share with fans what she has been up to nowadays. She uploaded a few photos of her and included captions.

In the first slide, she wrote, "Self-proclaimed beauty part-timer." She captioned the second image with "Boss, how long do I have to work? No, it is still fun" and "Please give me a lot of support, so I can escape."
As per her caption, former Lovelyz Jin is currently working part-time. She is helping her mother at their recently opened restaurant.

On Feb. 12, she announced the opening of their restaurant through an Instagram post. She encouraged the fans to come to visit or stop by to eat when they pass by the place.
She also mentioned she will be there during weekdays except for Friday.

Accordingly, many of Lovelyz's fans directly went to the store to eat and see the idol. Jin's former bandmates Lee Mijoo, Seo Jisoo, and Jeong Yein have also shown their support.

To date, former Lovelyz Jin has not found a new agency where she can have a fresh start as a K-pop idol. She is currently doing content for her YouTube channel in addition to working part-time at their restaurant.

Before debuting in Lovelyz, Jin originally made her debut as a solo artist under Woollim Entertainment.
Where is Lovelyz Jin Now?
Jin dropped her first digital single "Gone" on Nov. 8, 2013. "Gone" became her first and last release as a soloist as she re-debuted as a Lovelyz member in November 2014. Since then, she has had no further solo promotions as she focused on group activities.

One year and two months ahead of disbandment, Lovelyz released their seventh EP, "Unforgettable" on Sept. 1, 2020. The mini-album contains six songs including the title track "Obliviate." They won their first music show trophy for "Obliviate" on the Sept. 8 episode of SBS MTV's "The Show."
Where is LOVELYZ Now?
"Unforgettable" came out following the girl group's participation on Mnet's reality show "Queendom," where they competed against other female K-pop artists such as Oh My Girl, MAMAMOO, (G)I-DLE, Lovelyz, and Park Bom. During the finale of the program, Lovelyz finished in fifth place after performing "Moonlight," which was later added to the show's album "Queendom Final Comeback."
