Lovelyz Mijoo Share Heartbreaking Post to Instagram Story Ahead of Group's Disbandment
On November 15, Lovelyz member Mijoo shared an update on her Instagram Story that has Lovelinus in tears. Want to know what it was?
The idol shared a photo of a large board that spelled out Lovelyz's name in Korean. Along with the picture included a caption that reads, "I love you..." Her simple post has touched the hearts of internet users and has moved Lovelyz's supporters to tears ahead of the group's disbandment.
Currently, Mijoo's Instagram still reads that she is a member of Lovelyz and that she is under Woollim Entertainment. However, it is expected that she will change her bio on November 16, as her contract with Woollim Entertainment will expire on that day. Back on November 1, it was revealed that she was one of the members who chose not to renew her contract with the company.

On November 1, Woollim Entertainment announced that seven of the eight members have chosen not to renew their contracts with the agency. Jiae, Jisoo, Mijoo, Kei, Jin, Sujeong and Yein will leave the company on November 16 following the expiration of their contracts. Baby Soul is the only member to have renewed her contract with the agency.
They then thanked the fans for supporting Lovelys for the past seven years. The company states that they will support and respect the members and their new starts in a new place. Woollim Entertainment asks the fans to send lots of encouragement and support to the Lovelyz members entering a new chapter.
They also stated that they will support Baby Soul and that they will spare no effort in providing the idol opportunities for her career. They promise fans that they will give the idol activities to meet with fans soon.
Lovelyz's will have one final show as a group before their disbandment.

Prior to their disbandment announcement, Lovelyz's last musical release was their seventh mini-album "Unforgettable," with the lead single "Obliviate," on September 1, 2020. The girls won one music show award for the comeback on MTV's "The Show."
