Back on December 4, BTS' oldest member Jin surprised fans, ARMY, by releasing a short song called "Super Tuna" as a way to celebrate his 29th (international age) birthday.
Little did he know, "Super Tuna" was gonna take over the world by storm and become a big hit. Following its release, the song went on to become viral on social media, and even created the "Super Tuna Challenge," with millions of fans joining in on the craze.

"Super Tuna" became so popular, that Jin himself asked had fans to stop doing the "Super Tuna Challenge" out of embarrassment, which, unsurprisingly, did not work.
Now, three months later, and "Super Tuna" is still going strong and has been played in numerous places and broadcasts around the world.
But it seems that "Super Tuna" is now taking over a new and unexpected place - clubs!

According to several fans, who took to Twitter to share their experiences, the viral song is now being played in clubs of some of the biggest cities all over the globe, such as New York, London, and Moscow!
In the videos shared, club-goers can be see partying to "Super Tuna" and having fun, and even accompanying their dancing with some of the song's famous moves!
While "Super Tuna" is not your usual type of music for clubbing, it certainly is a welcomed one!

'Super Tuna' Trends in South Korea Again Following 'Amazing Saturday' Episode
Just like how "Super Tuna" went viral around the world, the song also went viral in South Korea and was featured in several domestic broadcasts and was reported as a viral sensation by multiple media outlets.
Recently on February 19, the song trended again in South Korea and landed at the top of MelOn's real time search after being featured on the popular variety show, "Amazing Saturday," for its 200th special episode.

In particular, they played various bits of "Super Tuna" for a whopping 15 minutes straight during the episode, as the cast members had to figure out the song and write down its lyrics.
Over on Twitter, "์ํผ์ฐธ์น" ("super chamchi" / "Super Tuna") trended with more than 10,000 mentions, while Jin and "tuna" trended No. 1 and No. 3, respectively, on MelOn's real time search.
With how addicting "Super Tuna" is, the song will surely continue trending in the future!
