In a new survey, BLACKPINK Jennie, BTS Jin, EXO Kai, ASTRO Eunwoo, and more were voted as the most popular idols in the United States.

BTS Jin is the Most Popular K-pop Idol in the US
On February 21, the rankings for "Most Popular Idol in the USA" were revealed. In particular, the survey was held from February 4 to February 18 in the Idol Champ app.
BTS Jin once again proved his worldwide popularity by topping the list of "The most Popular Idols in the United States." The "Butter" singer earned 35.69% of the votes.

Indeed, Jin's fame and influence in the international market is particularly evident in the US.
In 2017, he broke the internet for his handsome visual and was dubbed as the "third member from the left," following their appearance of BTS in the U.S. Billboard Music Awards.
"The meme 'third member from the left,' thanks to BTS Jin, has increased the group's social presence and made BTS a name that everyone knows in the United States," Billboard stated.
In addition to this, according to NetBaseQuid, a U.S. social media analysis industry leader and consumer market information platform, Jin became the first K-pop artist to be ranked in the "Top 10 Most frequently mentioned Celebrities in Social Media" for the seventh consecutive month.
Lastly, BTS Jin also topped the list of most frequently mentioned figures at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) held last year, just one of the proofs of how massive Jin's popularity among global fans.

Aside from BTS Jin, the vote for "the most popular idol in the United States" was nominated by 14 other prominent idols representing K-pop.

EXO Kai came second with 18.85% of the votes.
In the US, the "Peaches" singer is not only popular for his music but he is also know as a fashion icon. Kai is the global ambassador and model for top luxury brands Gucci, Bobbi Brown, Yves Saint Laurent, and many more.
GOT7 Youngjae, Super Junior Yesung, ATEEZ Hong Joong then completed the Top 5.
ASTRO Cha Eun Woo followed at sixth place, who became a worldwide star as an actor for his hit Korean dramas "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" and "True Beauty."
Among female idols, TWICE Nayeon and BLACKPINK Jennie entered the Top 15.

On the other hand, Jin, who won the vote, will be given a subway CM board advertisement as a prize.
