2PM Chansung Draws Flak for Saying THIS to HOTTEST
2PM Chansung gave HOTTEST (2PM fandom) an update about his ongoing wedding preparations. Unfortunately, not everyone was thrilled to hear information about the idol's upcoming nuptials to his longtime girlfriend.

2PM Chansung Shares Wedding Update
On Thursday, Feb. 22, 2PM Chansung revealed he visited the Seoul Living Design Fair, which is an annual event that Korean couples go to before their wedding.
The fair features different household items that newlyweds and engaged couples visit to look for perfect pieces they can include in their homes.
Even though 2PM Chansung's update seemed casual and innocent, it did not sit well with some HOTTEST.
In fact, they didn't like the fact that the K-pop idol used his Twitter account that's supposedly for work to give updates about his personal life. Some even questioned Chansung's decision to wed his girlfriend and encouraged other fans to stop supporting him.
Others explained that they support 2PM Chansung's decision to marry his longtime girlfriend, but stated they want him to separate work from his personal life.
HOTTEST's Mixed Reactions to 2PM Chansung's Update
Of course, there were also several fans who came to Chansung's defense. They said that they understand that Chansung just wanted to share what he's doing with his supporters.

Some HOTTEST also pointed out that Chansung is already 32 years old and deserves to settle down.
2PM Chansung Gives Life & Work Update
In December 2021, 2PM Chansung wrote a letter to HOTTEST to announce his engagement and his bride-to-be's pregnancy.
He revealed that he had been dating the same woman for several years, and confirmed that they would soon welcome their first child together.
In his statement, Chansung also revealed that his contract with JYP Entertainment would expire on Jan. 24. All parties involved decided that it's best if he doesn't renew his contract with the agency.

Towards the end of his letter, 2PM Chansung said that his thoughts were with HOTTEST because he didn't know how they would embrace the information he shared.
At the time, Chansung already faced backlash over his decision to wed his girlfriend. Others also started speculating on his wife's identity because he only shared very little information about her.
2PM Chansung told HOTTEST his fiancée isn't from the same industry. It was also revealed eventually that she's eight years his senior.
When asked to confirm or deny the reports, JYP Entertainment said they can't say much about 2PM Chansung's relationship because it's a personal matter.
