BTS Jungkook Helps Boost Justin Park's Career

During an interview with Bandwagon, Park shared how BTS Jungkook unknowingly impacted his music career.

Park, 24, has been in the music industry for years. He worked on his first album, "PLACES LIKE HOME" for years before finally debuting in 2018.

In December 2021, BTS Jungkook shared Park's song, "On the Low" to his Instagram Story.

At the time, not many people knew who Park was. But when they saw BTS Jungkook listening to the song, ARMYs also tuned in to Park's music.

Shortly after Jungkook shared "On the Low" on his social media account, the track became viral online.

Two months later, the music video for "On the Low" already has 2.8 million views and still counting.

Park literally experienced the so-called "BTS Jungkook Effect." This means that whatever BTS Jungkook wears, buys, listens to, and does immediately go viral because of his millions of followers.

So, when Park learned that BTS Jungkook posted his song on his Instagram Story, he could not be more grateful.

In fact, Park said that he was so overwhelmed with emotions that he ended up crying and laughing at the same time.

Since "On the Low" was shared on Jungkook's IG account at around 4 a.m., Park said that he couldn't share the news with anyone because his family and friends were asleep.

Park also said that he was unable to sleep because he was so happy. So, he just worked on his socials to make sure that everyone in his life would know what just happened.

Justin Park Grateful to Fans

After receiving support from BTS Jungkook, Park said that he became even more motivated to do what he's doing well. He said there are times wherein he feels that he's not allowed to make mistakes, and this gets into his head.

But Park couldn't also help but look forward to what lies ahead for him. He also asked his fans to stay tuned because he has a lot of songs and surprises in store for them.

Now, Park continues to gain more traction in the music industry.

Park is an American-Korean singer under 5A Label. The agency described him as the future of R&B.

Prior to his 2018 debut, Park first recorded songs for a slew of K-pop artists.

In 2017, he also captured the hearts of his fans when he covered Drake's hit song, "Fake Love," on his YouTube account.

He also released "Mi Vida" last month, which is a first look off his second album, "I Can See The Stars From Here."
