On March 4, Forbes Korea released the results for the global survey under the theme, "Who are the 'actdols' (actor + idol) you trust the most?" In particular, the poll aims to determine the top K-pop idols who successfully opened their career in the acting field as well.

GOT7 Jinyoung, BLACKPINK Jisoo Chosen #1 Best Idol Actors in Respective Categories

As a result of voting held from January 26 to February 9, Jinyoung from GOT7 and Jisoo of BLACKPINK dominated first place in each category.

In the male category, Jinyoung, the sub-vocalist and center of GOT7 won the title after earning 61, 145 votes.

In particular, the idol turned actor was initially loved for his first appearance on the small screen through KBS's drama, "Dream High 2." Upon broadcast, he received rave reviews for his compelling acting skills, on top of his refreshing visuals.

Since then, his fame skyrocketed and eventually became known for various works including, "My Love Eundong," "The Devil Judge," and "Yumi's Cells."

In the female category, BLACKPINK Jisoo earned the top spot with 10, 011 votes. The vocalist of global girl group BLACKPINK recently wrapped up her debut drama as the main lead, "Snowdrop."

At first, there are criticisms of her acting skills, which she proved wrong throughout the drama broadcast. The idol actress challenged the role of Eun Young Ro, who showcased the raw emotions of losing loved ones amid Korea's 1987 Democracy Movement.

Along with Jinyoung, ASTRO Eunwoo and EXO D.O. entered the top 3 as well in the male category, respectively.

Eunwoo is a multi-talented idol known for his drama including, "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" and "True Beauty."

Meanwhile, D.O., who is known as a top-tier vocalist in the K-pop scene, expanded his career in the acting field, which earned him recognition.

In 2017, the idol established his name as a top actor after winning the "Blue Dragon Film Award for Best New Actor" for his impeccable performance in the film, "My Annoying Brother."

Kim Sejeong then took the second spot in the female category. The former I.O.I and GUGUDAN member is continuously receiving love from K-pop and drama enthusiasts for her stable acting and versatility.

She's known for works such as "School 2017," "The Uncanny Counter" and "Business Proposal."
