BTS Jungkook's brother just shared devastating news about their family dog, Gureum.

BTS Jungkook's Dog Gureum Passes Away

ARMYs recently asked BTS Jungkook's brother, Jeon Jung Hyun, for updates on Gureum because it's been months since fans last saw him.

To their surprise, Jung Hyun shared that the white Maltese passed away at the age of 20 late last year.

ARMYs were heartbroken over the news because they know that Gureum has been a big part of BTS Jungkook's life, as well as the lives of his entire family.

In fact, BTS Jungkook is a self-confessed dog lover. He regularly shares photos and videos of his beloved pets on his social media accounts.

During an interview, BTS Jungkook revealed that Gureum aka Cloudie or Cloud was rescued from an animal shelter in South Korea. Gureum was reportedly an abandoned dog, and Jungkook's family made sure to give him the best life that she deserved.

BTS Jungkook lived with Gureum for years, and the adorable dog was also in his life when he joined BTS.

When Gureum passed away, he was living with BTS Jungkook's brother.

ARMYs Remember BTS Jungkook's Dog

ARMYs paid tribute to Gureum by sharing adorable photos of the late dog alongside images of BTS Jungkook.

Some of them also pointed out that BTS Jungkook was just 4 years old when Gureum was born.

BTS Jungkook Has 3 Dogs

As of writing, BTS Jungkook has three other pets, namely Bam, Peng, and Song. Bam is a Doberman, while Peng and Song are Italian Greyhounds.

In November 2021, BTS Jungkook shared an adorable moment with his dog. In an episode of "SOOP," BTS Jungkook was spotted enjoying a hearty meal before he realized that he has not yet given Bam his food.

The dog gave his master a stern look, and BTS Jungkook couldn't help but feel guilty. So, BTS Jungkook immediately rushed to give Bam his food. And the adorable moment between the two was very priceless.

In January 2022, BTS Jungkook also went viral after he shared adorable photos with his three dogs. The snap shows Jungkook hugging his two Italian Greyhounds while they are looking intently towards the camera.
