NMIXX Reveals They Were Surprised Hearing Their Debut Song 'O.O' For the First Time
Recently on March 7, JYP Entertainment's newly debuted girl group, NMIXX, participated in their first-ever radio broadcast on the FM4U radio show "Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope."
During their broadcast appearance, the Kim Shin Young asked the seven members regarding their reaction to hearing their debut song "O.O" for the first time.
"Is there a member who thought this [O.O] was amazing after hearing the guide version?" the MBC Radio DJ asked.

Hearing the question, NMIXX's leader Haewon spoke up to answer, revealing that they thought the song was "really cool."
However, they became surprised after hearing the abrupt change in beat after the lyric "NMIXX," which they revealed was actually a different work in the beginning.
"Oh, we listened to the title song well, and when we got to the 'O.O,' it was really cool. We thought it was a song full of swag, but it wasn't NMIXX. It was a different lyric. In the song, the genre changes after hearing 'NMIXX,' We thought, 'Hang on? What is this?' We were surprised," Haewon said.

Kim Shin Young agreed and that the song had a "big twist" in it, saying, "There is a big twist in the song. While you kept listening to it, you thought 'Oh, what is this?'"
In reference to their song title, Haewon laughed and added that their eyes went as wide as "O.O."
"While we were listening to the song, each of the members' eyes suddenly became O.O?" Haewon said laughing, with the other members agreeing.

Hearing this, the Kim Shin Young laughed as well, but complimented the group for their unique debut song.
"It's definitely one song, right? That's what I thought. But NMIXX opened the door so well," the radio DJ said.
She also joked that she is waiting for her group, Celeb Five, to also do that kind of music, to which NMIXX expressed their excitement.
Meanwhile, NMIXX's debut track "O.O" had garnered divided responses upon its release, with many expressing their confusion regarding the song due to its multiple themes and genres.

NMIXX's 'AD MARE' Lands Third on Gaon Monthly Album Chart
Recently on March 10, Gaon Chart announced the rankings for their domestic physical album chart for the month of February 2022.
Snagging No. 3 and recording their new peak on Gaon's Monthly Album Chart is NMIXX's debut single album "AD MARE," which was released back on February 22 and had sold a total of 161,312 album copies.
"AD MARE" follows behind TREASURE's "The Second Step: Chapter One," and STAYC's "Young-Luv.com," respectively.
Meanwhile, "AD MARE" contains a total of two songs: "O.O" and "Tank."
